Q&T Management Ltd – Terms of Business

These Terms of Business set out the basis on which Q&T Management Ltd represents artists for work within the entertainment industry. By registering with Q&T Mgt, artists agree to be represented under the following terms.

  1. Representation

1.1 Q&T Mgt acts as an employment agent under the Employment Agencies Act 1973 and associated Regulations.
1.2 We represent performers in securing work in TV, film, commercials, theatre, voiceover, corporate, and related media.
1.3 We do not charge upfront fees. Any deductions are commission-based only on paid work secured by us.

  1. Commission

2.1 Commission is charged as follows:
• Commercial / Voiceover / Corporate / Photographic: 20%
• TV / Film: 15%
• Theatre: 10%

  1. Payment

3.1 Payments from production companies or clients will be processed via Q&T Mgt unless otherwise arranged.
3.2 Fees will be paid within 10 days of us receiving payment, in line with Equity guidelines.
3.3 Commission will be deducted, and the balance paid to the artist via bank transfer.
3.4 Artists are responsible for ensuring their bank and tax details are up to date.

  1. Exclusivity

4.1 Representation is generally exclusive in the UK for the areas of work we submit you for.
4.2 If you wish to be represented by another agent, this must be discussed and agreed in writing.

  1. Termination

5.1 Either party may terminate the representation agreement by providing 7 days’ written notice.
5.2 Commission remains payable for any work secured during the term of representation, including future payments (e.g., royalties, repeat fees).

  1. Self-Tape & Audition Policy

6.1 Artists are expected to respond to audition/self-tape requests promptly.
6.2 If repeatedly unavailable or unresponsive, representation may be reviewed.

  1. Conduct

7.1 We expect artists to conduct themselves professionally at all times, in line with Equity, Spotlight, and wider industry standards.
7.2 Misconduct may result in termination of representation.

  1. Data & Privacy

8.1 We collect and process your personal data in accordance with the UK GDPR.
8.2 Your information is shared only with casting professionals, clients, and platforms (e.g. Spotlight, Tagmin) for the purpose of securing work.

  1. Disputes

9.1 Any disputes will be handled fairly and in line with industry norms.
9.2 If unresolved, complaints may be directed to the Employment Agency Standards Inspectorate or PMA (if applicable).

  1. Amendments

10.1 These Terms may be updated. Artists will be informed of any material changes. Continued representation implies acceptance of updated terms.

  1. Credit & Acknowledgment

11.1 Artists agree to credit Q&T Management Ltd in all appropriate public posts, social media, and press coverage related to professional work secured during their period of representation.

11.2 This includes, but is not limited to:
• Social media platforms (e.g. Instagram, X/Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn)
• Press interviews, articles, podcasts, and media appearances where appropriate.

11.3 Where appropriate, artists should tag or mention Q&T Mgt on relevant platforms to acknowledge representation.

11.4 This clause applies to any work secured during the term of representation, regardless of when the work is released or publicly announced.
